The Microinstruments WYS-37XBW inverted biological microscope is equipped with a long-distance flat-field achromatic objective lens and a long-working distance condenser, as well as a phase contrast device, extra-long distance phase-contrast condenser, phase-contrast objective, and centered telescope, allowing observation of unstained transparent living organisms in petri dishes and flasks. Nankai University is a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education. The school was founded in 1904 and established in 1919, founded by modern patriotic educators Yan Xiu and Zhang Boling, who upheld the philosophy of saving the nation through education. In 1937, the campus was destroyed by the Japanese invaders, and the school moved south. It joined with Peking University and Tsinghua University to form the National Changsha Temporary University, and in 1938 relocated to Kunming and was renamed National Southwest Associated University. In 1946, it returned to Tianjin to reopen and was renamed a national school.
